FirstBank, the third-largest privately held bank in the USA, wanted to secure its mobile banking app in the most user-friendly way possible.
In 2016, it upgraded its app to support Touch ID fingerprint biometrics as a second factor of authentication, with Transakt doing the hard work behind the scenes. Biometrics support on the bank’s Android app followed a few months later.
